On Sakhalin ended the All-Russian competition in the discipline of enduro No Place To Run. Athletes from Krasnodar, Gelendzhik, Moscow, Tatarstan, Nizhny Novgorod, Yoshkar-Ola, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Vladivostok, Blagoveshchensk, as well as Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and other regions of the region participated in the race. The results were reported in the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Sakhalin Region.
The extremals showed the technique of owning a motorcycle on a short track in the prologue, then they competed in a three-day race along the Susunais and Mayors ridges, the vicinity of the Aniva lighthouse, Cape Evstafia, Emerald Lakes in the Korsakov district and ended in the Khomutovo planning area.
Participants were divided into EXPERT, HOBBY and PRO categories. Viktor Titov from Sakhalin became the winner in the HOBBY class. In the EXPERT class, Ilya Shpazhnikov from Vladivostok became the fastest. Artem Yurchuk from South Sakhalin won the PRO class.
“On the final day, my brakes failed, a wheel broke, the electric starter broke, I had to start the motorcycle from a hill, but it turned out that I arrived before the rest of the rivals. The second day we liked the most – there we tested our endurance. The difficulty was in the cascade of stones, there were a lot of logs and water obstacles,” Artem Yurchuk shared his impressions.
Formerly MK on Sakhalin toldthat in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on August 20, the All-Russian off-road motorcycle competition No Place To Run began with qualifying races. They are held on Sakhalin for the seventh time.
