The results of the championship and championship of the Arkhangelsk region in mountaineering in the discipline “ice climbing” have been summed up. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Sports. 44 athletes from Arkhangelsk and Severodvinsk took part in the competition.
On the first day in the Primorsky region, athletes competed in passing the track at speed. To win, it was necessary to overcome the route as quickly as possible.
The second day of the competition took place on artificial terrain at the “Vertical Limit” climbing wall in Arkhangelsk, where athletes competed in the “ice climbing – difficulty” discipline. Participants were required to complete a series of difficult tracks. The winner was the one who showed the best result in the least number of attempts and time.
Mountain climbers are preparing for new competitions. On March 16 and 17, the capital of Pomorie will host the championship and championship of the Arkhangelsk region in rock climbing in the bouldering discipline.
