The work was carried out under the auspices of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation.
Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin announced the completion of all ongoing work at one of the main sports facilities in Severodonetsk.
As part of the development of social infrastructure in new regions, Russian contractors restored children’s and youth sports school No. 1 in the city. After renovation, the sports facility will be able to simultaneously accommodate about a thousand young athletes for training and competitions in various sports.
Khusnullin noted that large-scale restoration work affected not only the external transformation of the sports buildings, but also the renovation of the internal space. Now young Luhansk residents will be able to practice boxing, judo, sambo and rock climbing, play volleyball, mini-football, tennis and table tennis, as well as visit the gym for training or maintaining health.
