The Chairman of the Government of Dagestan, Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, announced the republic’s readiness to accept about 200 refugees from Palestine. The first group of about 50 people is expected to arrive in the coming days.

“Places have been prepared to accommodate up to 200 people, they are expected to arrive in groups. In the coming week we expect the arrival of the first group of more than 50 people— reported Mr. Abdulmuslimov at a meeting on the issue of organizing the reception of the evacuated population who were forced to leave the territory of Palestine. — The Lezzet sanatorium in the Karabudakhkent region is being considered as temporary accommodation, there are all the necessary conditions for this. Moreover, nearby, in the village of Manaskent, there is a school and a kindergarten. Additionally, we provided another hotel complex, “Dolphin”, as a reserve accommodation point.”

Responsible authorities have been given instructions to organize transport and medical services for arriving citizens, provide them with cellular communications, warm clothing, and the accompaniment of an interpreter.
