The winner of the Miss World contest has been announced
Kristina Pyshkova from the Czech Republic became the winner of the Miss World beauty contest held in India, RIA Novosti reports.
This year the competition was hosted by the city of Mumbai. The representative of the Czech Republic wins for the second time in the history of the competition; in 2006, the main prize went to Tatyana Kucharzhova.
Kristina Pyshkova, 23, is a model pursuing degrees in law and business administration and is also involved in charitable educational projects in Tanzania.
Last year’s Miss World winner Sini Shetty, representing India, failed to make it to the finalists this year.
