The relics of St. George the Victorious were brought to Lugansk. A prayer service for victory will be held in the city. This is part of the procession, which goes through all regions of Russia.

Since May 6, the relics of St. George have been carried around the country and prayers have been performed. The All-Russian religious procession will end in November. After that, the shrine will return to the Trinity-Sergius Lavra. It has been kept there since the 18th century.

The ark with the relics has already visited 50 regions of Russia. More than 400 thousand people were able to bow to them and pray nearby. These are both civilian and military. After Lugansk, the relics will go to Donetsk, Berdyansk, Melitopol and Genichesk.
