Capital manufacturers of medical furniture in January-August 2022 increased the output of goods by 2.3 times. According to the press service of the capital complex of economic policy and property and land relations, the total amount was 703 million rubles.
Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations, noted that a significant increase in the production of such goods is expected due to the offset contract.
“Now the city has signed five such contracts for the supply of medicines, medical products and baby food with a total investment of 12.9 billion rubles,” the press service quoted him as saying.
Since July 1 of this year, the minimum amount of investments under offset contracts has decreased 10 times to 100 million rubles, which will expand their use.
According to Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow investment and industrial policy department, more than 90 enterprises produce furniture in the capital. The city authorities are interested in attracting new investors to the industry.
“For example, Moscow decided to allocate a site in the east of the capital for the construction of a building for the production of school, home and office furniture. The investor will invest 280 million rubles in this project,” Ovchinsky specified.
