The All-Russian marathon “Land of Sports” covered the whole country this summer. The events are organized for athletes and lovers of a healthy lifestyle living in rural areas of Russia. In the Vologda Oblast, Kharovsk has become a venue for a sports festival.
The event took place on August 12, the Day of the Athlete. Kharovchane of all ages took part in morning exercises. Then there were competitions of family teams, passing the TRP standards, competitions in power extreme sports, street football, chess and other disciplines. Four winners – two men and two women – will represent the Vologda region in the final competitions of the marathon. They will be held in the Moscow region on August 29.
