In Kislovodsk, the Stavropol Region Kickboxing Championship and Championship started at sports school No. 1, reports the press service of the city mayor’s office.
More than 200 athletes take part in the event. The competition will last until January 28. Anyone can become a spectator.
“We are pleased to host regional events again. Athletes from different cities came to fight for the title of champion,” said the head of Kislovodsk, Evgeny Moiseev. “We wish the athletes good luck and invite all sports fans to support the guys.”
It was previously reported that The Kislovodsk climbing wall became a training ground for the Russian national climbing team.
