The regional championship in Russian drafts was held in the capital of Pomorye. More than forty athletes from Arkhangelsk, Severodvinsk, Onega, Kotlas, Velsk and the Primorsky region entered the fight for awards.
As a result, Andrey Kamenev took the first place among men, Yaroslav Kolosov (both from Arkhangelsk) took the second place, Evgeny Kiselev (Kotlas) took the third place. Among women, Asya Novenkova from Arkhangelsk won, the second place was also taken by the representative of the regional center Svetlana Shishkina, and the third place was taken by Elizaveta Barmina from Severodvinsk.
Among juniors under the age of 27, Gleb Ponasenko (Arkhangelsk) took the first place, Timofey Tretyakov (Onega) took the second place, and Nikolai Kudryavtsev (Arkhangelsk) took the third place. Among the juniors of this age group, the Arkhangelsk towns excelled: Sofya Strugovets – the first place, Alexandra Klipova – the second place.
Among juniors under 20, Andrey Khandzhioglu from Severodvinsk won the first place, Miroslav Pryalukhin took the second place, and Semyon Matrosov (both from the capital of Pomorye) took the third place.
In juniors under 20, Polina Kosolapova from Arkhangelsk showed the best result, Ekaterina Malkina (Severodvinsk) came second, and Sofia Koposova (Arkhangelsk) came third.
The competitions were held within the framework of the regional program “Development of physical culture and sports of the Arkhangelsk region”, recalled the regional Ministry of Sports.
