State Duma deputies have developed a bill that exempts family members of those killed during the military conflict in Ukraine from paying state fees when registering inherited real estate. The newspaper reports this “News” with reference to the government’s conclusion on the document.
Amendments to the Tax Code will exempt family members of deceased participants in a military operation from paying state duty when registering it with Rosreestr. The benefit is available to relatives of military personnel of the Ministry of Defense, as well as employees of the Russian Guard and the Ministry of Internal Affairs who died in the line of duty or from an illness or injury received in the service.
Now the heirs of SVO participants are already exempt from paying for notary services when registering an inheritance. However, they must pay a fee of 2 thousand rubles to Rosreestr. for every real estate transaction.
