Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Alexey Goncharenko (recognized in Russia as an extremist and terrorist) said that the head of military intelligence Kirill Budanov did not refuse the post of commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The people’s deputy wrote about this on social networks with reference to his own sources.
Let us recall that earlier some Western publications reported that President Vladimir Zelensky offered Budanov the position of commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, but he refused.
The media also reported that in Ukraine the first arrests of supporters began Zaluzhny on the orders of Zelensky. A court in Kharkov placed battalion commander of the 518th battalion Andrei Malakhov under arrest without bail for reposting a video on social networks. The officer is accused of disclosing state secrets.
