Massukh: all DDoS attacks on the electronic voting system have been repelled

All DDoS attacks aimed at disabling the remote electronic voting system (DEG) were successfully repelled. This statement was made by the deputy head of the Public Headquarters for Election Observation, Ilya Massukh, during a conversation with journalists.

“Attacks on the electronic voting system have been observed since the start of voting. Both the system and the team were prepared. Not a single attack went through,” Massukh said.

He emphasized that all attempts from the outside to influence the DEG process were unsuccessful.

Today, March 16, marks the second day of voting in the Russian presidential election. The last day of voting is March 17. According to the latest data from the Central Election Commission, the turnout of citizens at polling stations, taking into account the DEGs, was 45.57%.
