EastCham Finland, according to the Prosecutor General’s Office, together with another Finnish organization “operating under American leadership,” is promoting the idea of ​​​​refusing economic cooperation with Russia, “forcing” other companies to stop working in the Russian market. “The key activity of EastCham Finland at the moment has become a kind of consulting of Finnish companies regarding illegal ways to leave the Russian market,” the Prosecutor General’s Office said in a statement.

Established in 2001, the expert organization EastCham Finland is part of the Team Finland network, which provides services to Finnish enterprises in other countries. Following the reorientation of its work, EastCham Finland, in particular, supports the business operations of Finnish companies in the markets of Central Asia and the South Caucasus, and also offers information and advice on the topic of sanctions and changes in the business environment. The organization announced a merger with several companies in order to restore Ukraine after the end of hostilities.
