The organization “Public Consumer Initiative” sent an appeal to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation and Rospotrebnadzor with a call to check the operation of networks that prepare and deliver food in Russian cities. In particular, we are talking about the following companies: Good Food, Grow Food, My Food, Justfood, Vkusmil and Level Kitchen.
The reason for this was the mass food poisoning on February 15 in Rostov-on-Don. Fans of a healthy diet were poisoned by Good Food products. The brand is built on franchising – many individual entrepreneurs and LLCs operate under one popular brand.
In connection with the mass poisoning, a criminal case was initiated. All the victims were diagnosed with acute gastroenteritis. Gross violations were found during the audit.
