The Prosecutor General’s Office of Kazakhstan sent a proposal to the government to legally prohibit and establish administrative responsibility for the distribution of paraphernalia and symbols used by the warring parties in conflicts.
According to the portal Zakon.kz, Kuat Bapinov, the prosecutor of the public interest protection department of the city of Semey in the Abay region, noted that after the start of the Ukrainian conflict in Kazakhstan, the demonstration of the symbols “Z” or “V” became more frequent, and there were cases of sale of children’s products under the name “Army Russia” and “Polite people”. According to him, all this causes an ambiguous reaction in society.
Now government agencies, with the participation of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Kazakhstan, are working on the issue of banning the paraphernalia of the PMC “Wagner”, as well as the “Kurdish Workers’ Party” and the so-called “East Turkestan”.
