The Prosecutor General's Office announced the availability of permission to operate Crocus Expo

The Prosecutor General’s Office reported that the Crocus Expo exhibition complex (part of Crocus City Hall, like the Crocus City Mall shopping center) had permission to put it into operation. Previously Telegram channel Brief reported that Crocus Expo was not registered as a capital construction project in Rosreestr.

The Brief authors referred to the fact that in the case of the Wildberries marketplace warehouse that burned down in the Leningrad region, the lack of registration of the building as a capital construction project was a sign that the warehouse did not receive permission to put it into operation.

“Based on the results of the inspection, it was established that this capital construction project was put into operation in accordance with the requirements of urban planning legislation on October 12, 2009. Messages that the building was not put into operation and was not on the cadastral map of Rosreestr are not true,”— reported Prosecutor General’s Office.

Rescuers will need several more days to clear the rubble of Crocus City Hall, in which at least 133 people were killed in the terrorist attack. There may be victims of the terrorist attack under the rubble. The number of victims increased to 140 people.
