A Soyuz rocket with a Progress MS-22 cargo spacecraft was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. The ship will proceed to the International Space Station (ISS). This was reported press office Roskosmos.
The Progress MS-22 spacecraft will reach the ISS after 34 orbits around the Earth (two days later). It should dock with the Zvezda module on February 11 at 11:47 Moscow time. The ship will stay in orbit for about six and a half months.
The design of the rocket is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad. The ship will deliver food, fuel, equipment and water to the station, as well as packing for experiments at the station.
The last Progress MS-20 cargo ship undocked from the ISS and was sunk in the Pacific Ocean on February 7.
