On Wednesday, the Progress MS-23 cargo ship is expected to undock from the International Space Station (ISS), followed by sinking in the Pacific Ocean.
According to information from Roscosmos, the undocking of the Progress MS-23 cargo ship with the Poisk module of the Russian segment of the ISS is scheduled for 10:55 Moscow time.
At 14:43 Moscow time, the ship will enter the Earth’s atmosphere and collapse. The fireproof elements of its structure will fall in the non-navigable zone of the Pacific Ocean, approximately 2.3 thousand km from the city of Wellington (New Zealand).
The departure of the next Progress MS-25 truck is scheduled for December 1 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.
On May 24, the Progress MS-23 space truck docked with the ISS and delivered about 2.5 tons of cargo.
