Member of the Federation Council of Russia Alexei Pushkov in his Telegram channel speculated about the workers of which professions will soon be subjected to the “onslaught” of artificial intelligence.
“There is a whole category of still employed who will be squeezed out by artificial intelligence within a few years. The main argument is cost reduction,” the senator wrote.
As an example, Pushkov cited the German publication Bild, which announced the replacement of a number of positions with artificial intelligence to reduce its costs by €100 million.
He also recalled that human labor is a tool for the redistribution of social wealth.
“Already now, 1% of the social elite in many countries of the world owns a gigantic share of social wealth. AI is designed to further increase the share that is at their disposal. That is why … globalizers and neoliberals are delighted with it,” Pushkov summed up.
