The Ministry of Health proposed expanding the list of conditions for first aid

In Russia, the procedure for providing first aid may change; the Ministry of Health of Russia has made a corresponding proposal. The department’s draft order was published on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts.

Thus, it is proposed to expand the list of conditions for which first aid is provided.

In particular, it is proposed to supplement the list with situations in which the victim suffered bites from poisonous animals, or encountered convulsions, as well as acute psychological reactions to stress.

The procedure for providing assistance may also be changed. In addition, if the order is adopted, it will be allowed to provide assistance without the consent of the victim or his parent, if they have not previously refused first aid.

Another possible innovation is the right to use medical products and medicines that are not included in first aid kits and special kits when providing first aid.
