The government apparatus is striving to increase security in working with proprietary information. So the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers commented on the information about the ban on the use of the iPhone for work.
“In the government apparatus, security in working with official information is being systematically improved. This also applies to the use of all means of communication by the staff of the apparatus,” TASS.
Today, information appeared in Telegram channels that from June 26, government officials will sign a document banning the use of iPhones in the performance of official duties.
In March “b” informedthat employees of the internal political block of the presidential administration were recommended to change iPhone phones to smartphones of other brands and with a different operating system.
In June, the FSB reportedthat several thousand Apple devices of Russian diplomats were infected by US intelligence agencies with malware. In the Kremlin consideredthat the use of an iPhone in public service is “unacceptable and prohibited.”
