Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a regular meeting with members of the government on May 17, reported in the press service of the Kremlin. The meeting is scheduled for May 17 and will be held via videoconference.
The topic of the meeting will be increasing the availability of goods in new regions of Russia. It is specified that Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov and Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service Maxim Shaskolsky should make presentations. The Kremlin added that a number of topical issues will be considered at the meeting.
At the last meeting with the Cabinet on May 2, Putin discussed consequences of large fires in several regions of the country. The main issue on the agenda was the development of the tourism industry. Minister of Economic Development Maxim and First Deputy Minister of Transport Andrei Kostyuk made a presentation. According to Reshetnikov, despite the restrictions on flights to airports in the south of the country, the number of tourist trips increased by 4 million.
