Czech President Pavel said he did not offer to follow the Russians in the West
Czech President Petr Pavel claims that he did not propose to apply to Russians who are on the territory of Western countries the restrictive measures that were taken during the Second World War in the United States in relation to the Japanese who are on the territory of the States.
“This statement did not sound decisively as an approval, much less a proposal that we should follow the same path,” Pavel said.
Commenting on the measures that were taken by Washington during World War II in relation to the Japanese in the country, the Czech president said that there was nothing in this position with which he would agree.
Earlier, Petr Pavel called on the special services to arrange “surveillance” of Russians who are in Western countries.
