The president of the Nizhny Novgorod team criticized the introduction of post-match penalties on the air of the “20×20” program, where the main point was the devaluation of this procedure in the eyes of players and club representatives. If before the 2023-2024 season, penalty shootouts could only be seen in the playoffs of the Super League or Russian Cup, now they have become commonplace and no longer evoke the same emotions and passions as before.
Let us remind you that on November 24, the Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo futsal players will play the return match of the 1/8 finals of the Russian Cup against the Lipetsk LKS. The match will take place at the site of the Super League debutant and will begin at 19:00 Moscow time.
