The President of Kazakhstan instructed the government to allocate $1 million to assist Turkey

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed the Cabinet of Ministers of the country to allocate one million dollars to provide emergency assistance to Turkey, which suffered from a devastating earthquake. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
In parallel with this, the authorized bodies of Kazakhstan, together with the Turkish side, are studying the issue of providing additional assistance to eliminate the consequences of a natural disaster.
The second group of rescuers is already sent from Kazakhstan to Turkey. The second echelon consists of 60 personnel: rescuers, doctors from the Disaster Medicine Center and dog handlers with dogs.
Rescuers carry with them tools and equipment, as well as more than 160 types of medicines.
These rescuers will go to the city of Gaziantep to remove the rubble. The total number of Kazakh rescuers in Turkey will be 100 people.
