The President of Croatia called the leadership of the EU the most mediocre in history

The current leadership of the EU is the most “talentless” in history, and the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, must resign, Croatian President Zoran Milanovic said.
“This is the most mediocre generation of European politicians in history, these are people who are absolutely unaware of the consequences of what they are doing and what happened before,” quotes Milanovic newspaper Jutarnji list.
The head of state told how Borrell sent a “scandalous, ugly and deceitful letter” to Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlic Radman. “Lies are being told, a high security resolution is being invented, European council decisions and lies, lies, lies. What should we demand now? The resignation of this man was his official response to the state of Croatia,” the President concluded.
Earlier today, he said that Ukraine is not an ally of the EU and it is cynical to grant it the status of a candidate for EU membership. “Unfortunate Bosnia and Herzegovina had to wait, a terrible humiliation. This is today’s European Union, trouble, zero,” Milanovic stressed.
The Croatian parliament also did not support the proposal of the government of the republic to provide the Ukrainian military with the opportunity to study on the territory of the country.
Russia’s special operation in Ukraine began on February 24. Russian President Vladimir Putin called the protection of the inhabitants of Donbass, as well as the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, its goals. In response, Western countries imposed large-scale sanctions against Russia and began to provide military assistance to Ukraine. Western military aid to Ukraine totaled $40 billion, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said November 30.
