The government of Ukraine will determine the priorities in obtaining electricity, while the population is in the last (fourth) place among the priority categories, according to Ukrainian media.
As Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal said in his telegram channel, he instructed the Minister of Energy to develop and submit to the government for consideration “clear priorities for turning on the electricity supply.”
In the first place will be critical infrastructure, in particular water and heat supply facilities and hospitals. On the second – objects of the military-industrial complex.
Third on the list of priorities will be a business that produces critical goods and products. The fourth priority is the housing sector.
“Only after the inclusion of these four specified groups, electricity should be supplied to other facilities,” Shmyhal said.
The Russian Armed Forces periodically inflict massive strikes on the military command and control system of Ukraine and related energy facilities. Former Minister of Energy of Ukraine Ivan Plachkov said that currently Ukraine does not have reserves of equipment to support the energy system, and therefore there is an acute shortage of it.
