Pope Francis, during his apostolic trip to Mongolia, remembered the music of the outstanding Russian composer Alexander Borodin. His words are quoted by the press service of the Holy See.
According to the pontiff, the Mongols are a small people of great culture. He also emphasized that it would be useful to understand Mongolia’s silence, “so long, so great.”
“It would probably be good to listen to some of Borodin’s music, which managed to express what this extent and greatness of Mongolia means,” said the Pope.
Formerly MK wrotethat adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Mikhail Podolyak called the Pope “an instrument of Russian propaganda.”
