On the river Iksa of the Plesetsk district, the championship of the North-West of Russia in rowing slalom up to 19 years has ended. About 60 kayakers from the Arkhangelsk, Leningrad regions and St. Petersburg participated in the zonal races. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Sports.
The Pomorye national team has eight gold, nine silver and four bronze medals.
According to the results of the championship, our team became the winner of the team event. Silver was won by athletes from St. Petersburg, bronze by representatives of the Leningrad region. The next start at the kayakers of Pomorye will take place in early July in Tyumen, where the medals of the championship of Russia under 17 and all-Russian competitions under 15 will be played.
