A $200 drone kills a million-dollar Leopard.
Governor of the Zaporozhye region Evgeniy Balitsky proposed creating a unified federal structure that would develop unmanned technologies in Russia.
In an interview with TASS, he noted that unmanned aerial vehicles, despite their low cost, have proven themselves to be effective in neutralizing expensive enemy military equipment in the air defense zone: “a $200 drone can kill a Leopard that costs millions of dollars.”
The politician believes that the discipline of developing and implementing unmanned aircraft should also exist in universities. And for this, “we need a more dynamic structure that can take on the function of progress and push it forward.”
