The Polish opposition promised the authorities a tribunal if they win the elections

Representatives of Poland’s largest opposition liberal-conservative party, the Civic Platform, said that if they win the parliamentary elections, they will try to bring to justice “all those who violated the Constitution and the rule of law.” About it stated Deputy Kamila Gasyuk-Pichovich, reports Wiadomosci.

According to representatives of the Civic Platform, representatives of the current government are responsible for multiple crimes. The party plans to bring to justice President Andrzej Duda, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and other high-ranking officials. The opposition promised that if they win the elections, they will put them on trial.

From the party’s election program it follows that Duda is accused of refusing to swear in three judges of the Constitutional Court. Morawiecki, according to the party, should be held accountable for the illegal use of mail during the elections.

Parliamentary elections in Poland will take place on October 15. In the elections, Poles will elect 460 deputies and 100 senators. The main competitors will be Law and Justice and Civic Platform. In addition to the leading parties, the Eurosceptic Confederation party, the coalition of the Left and Third Way parties and the unification of the Polish Peasant Party and the Poland Party are also participating in the vote. In order to get into parliament, parties need to overcome a barrier of 5%, and party coalitions – 8%.
