Russian journalist Ksenia Sobchak was summoned to the police after an interview with director Vitaly Mansky, in which the latter spoke about his colleague Nikita Mikhalkov. Ksenia herself wrote about this in her Telegram channel.
As Sobchak said, Mikhalkov wrote a statement to the police against Mansky, accusing him of slander. According to the application, a criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Art. 128.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Sobchak is a witness in this case.
The journalist was invited by a subpoena to the Office for the Organization of Inquiry of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Mansky himself claims that he has not seen the application and does not live in Russia at all.
Recall that Sobchak’s interview with Mansky was published in May 2022 on the TV presenter’s YouTube channel. Mansky spoke in an interview about the reasons for leaving Russia and about his attitude to the special military operation in Ukraine.
