The police found no violations in Gurulev’s call to “destroy the rot” that disagrees with the SVO

Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Boris Vishnevsky received a letter from the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Eastern District of Moscow, in which he was informed about the results of an audit on his application regarding State Duma deputy Andrei Gurulev. Earlier Vishnevsky wrote statement to the Prosecutor General’s Office with a request to check Gurulev’s statements on federal television. The statement referred to Gurulev’s words that Vladimir Putin is not supported by 20% of the Russian population and that the rot should be “destroyed.” Later, the deputy said that “rot” is not the entire opposition to the president, but those who is against SVO.
How reported Petersburg “Yabloko”, Vishnevsky’s statement from the Prosecutor General’s Office was transferred to the Moscow prosecutor’s office, and from there to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. And according to the report of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Eastern Administrative District, law enforcement agencies “did not identify any violations of the legislation on countering extremist activities.”
Vishnevsky does not agree with law enforcement officers; in his opinion, what Gurulev said is “a direct call for the murder of tens of millions of people.” He believes that “law enforcement agencies demonstratively do not notice this” and this is an “outrageous position.”
“Of course, the response from Center E will be appealed,” Vishnevsky added.
