The city festival of physical culture and sports “Polar Bear Cub” has started in Murmansk. It will include sports competitions, flash mobs and creative performances.
The festival has been held in the Arctic for 25 years. More than ten thousand people were among the participants – coaches, pupils of sports formations and their families.
The games are held to instill in young northerners a love of sports. Children are “lured” to the festival with a variety of activities. The event also includes entertainment concerts and competitions in various activities.
The first ski flash mob has already taken place in Murmansk. It was attended by teachers of kindergarten №13. As the head of the regional capital, Igor Morar, said in his Telegram channel, such events will be held in the city until March 30.
Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that in the capital of the Murmansk region start snowboarding competition.
