The “poisoning” of the cake handed over to the pilots in Armavir turned out to be unconfirmed

So far, investigators have determined where the strange gifts were bought.
Law enforcement officials found out where the cake and whiskey were given to the participants of the meeting of pilots, graduates of the Armavir Higher Military Aviation School. However, there is no clear confirmation yet that the “gifts” were filled with any poison.
As MK learned, the cake was made in a private confectionery by a self-employed citizen. Bottles of whiskey were bought at a chain store. No problems have previously occurred either with the private confectionery shop or with this store, so the possibility of accidental poisoning is practically excluded.
The cake was ordered remotely. Initially, other couriers picked up the cake and whiskey, and only then the order was “put together” and handed over to Melitopol resident Yegor Semenov, who was subsequently detained.
It is interesting that Semenov stated that the gift was given to the participants of the meeting from other graduates. At the same time, he named the specific names of the donors. When they were contacted to thank them for the donation, they denied the very fact of donating the cake and whiskey. This is what aroused the suspicion of the meeting participants, after which law enforcement officers intervened in the matter.
Investigators are waiting for the results of the examination, but so far, according to MK, there is no exact confirmation of the presence of poison in the cake and whiskey.
