The leader of the Left Front, Sergei Udaltsov, who was arrested before February 15 in the case of justifying terrorism on the Internet (Part 2 of Article 205.2), is in the quarantine cell of the Moscow pre-trial detention center No. 7, said the executive secretary of the Public Monitoring Commission (POC) of Moscow, Alexey Melnikov.

“We visited pre-trial detention center No. 7, where Sergei Udaltsov is being held, for an inspection. While he is in a quarantine double cell, he has no conflicts with his neighbor, there have been no complaints about the conditions of detention,” said Mr. Melnikov “RIA News”. According to him, Mr. Udaltsov receives all letters and transmissions.

The reason for initiating a case to justify terrorism was posts in defense of five members of a Marxist circle from Ufa, who are accused of organizing a terrorist community.

On January 11, the day before his arrest, Sergei Udaltsov’s apartment was searched, equipment was seized, and then he was taken for interrogation. According to the charged article, he faces from five to seven years in prison. Mr. Udaltsov blame didn’t recognize.
