The capital hosted the final of the pilot season of the Moscow School Esports League, which was attended by schoolchildren and college students aged 11 to 17. More than a hundred teams competed for victory in the final.
According to the results of the final competitions, the winners in “Computer disciplines” among schoolchildren of 7-9 grades were: the team of school No. 1205, the team of school No. 1329, the team of school No. 1786, the team of “Schools in Nekrasovka”, the team of school No. 654 named after A. D Fridman. And among schoolchildren of 10-11th grades and college students – the team of school No. 654 named after A. D. Fridman, the team of school No. 1547, the team of the College of Hospitality Industry and Management No. 23.
In the “Console Disciplines” among students in grades 7 – 9, the team of school No. 1296 became the best, and among schoolchildren in grades 10 – 11 and college students, two teams – school No. 1944 and school No. 1150 named after twice Hero of the Soviet Union K. K Rokossovsky.
In the “Mobile disciplines” students of the 5th – 6th grades took part in the experiment. Among juniors, the best were: the team of school No. 656 named after A.S. Makarenko and the team of school No. 1296. For students of grades 7-9, four teams were named winners: school No. 1619 named after M.I. Tsvetaeva, school No. 1186 named after the Hero of the Soviet Union Musa Jalil, school No. 2104 on Taganka and school No. 1296. In the senior group among schoolchildren of 10-11 grades and college students, the team of school No. 2104 on Taganka became the winner.
As the director of the Patriot.Sport Moscow Center Marat Kuchushev noted, now many schoolchildren and students in the capital are fond of e-sports.
“Our task is to support their interest, organize competitions and help the guys prepare for them. Cybersport develops reaction speed, strategic thinking, decision-making skills, and attentiveness in children. But most importantly, it contributes to the study of school subjects and the development of modern technologies,” Marat Kuchushev specified. — Thanks to cyber games, children learn to work in a team and develop leadership skills.
Registration of schoolchildren for the first main season of the Moscow eSports League has started on the website of the Patriot.Sport Moscow Center. It will last until January 20, the competition will start on January 23. Competitions will be held in three age groups: 11 – 14 years old (5th – 8th grades), 15 – 19 years old (9th – 11th grades), from 16 years old (college students).
