Details of the condition of the Russians who survived the Falcon plane crash in the mountains of Afghanistan have become known. Let us remind you that two pilots and two doctors were able to survive. The passengers, patient Anna Evsyukova and her husband Anatoly, died.
As MK learned, both pilots are still in the hospital. The condition of Dmitry Belyakov is of particular concern. In addition to the concussion, he suffered second-degree frostbite on both legs. This is understandable: the crew commander was pinched by the plane’s parts for a long time at a low temperature – the plane made a hard landing on a snow-covered mountain. Doctors fear that tissue necrosis may begin. Co-pilot Arkady Grachev, who also lost the ability to move after the accident, suffered similar injuries. He has a concussion and frostbite on his right leg. Both Russians are being treated by doctors at a military hospital.
Two doctors feel much better – they are at the Russian embassy. Reanimatologist-anesthesiologist Pavel Polyakov suffered a minor concussion and chest contusion, the second medic Igor Syvorotkin escaped with bruises and a minor concussion, which in the current situation can be considered a miracle.
The question of transporting seriously injured people is still up in the air. Actually, the main problem is with Dmitry Belyakov. He can only be transported on a stretcher, and airline planes that fly from Kabul to Russia via Dubai are not suitable for transporting bedridden patients. Only air ambulance can take on such a delicate load. However, for this it is necessary to involve the resources of the Russian Ministry of Health. So far, all attempts to do this have not been successful: the ambulance flight has not been organized due to lack of funds. Therefore, no one can predict when it will be possible to transport the injured pilot to Moscow.
Thus, Belyakov unwittingly found himself in the same position as his recent client, the deceased Anna Evsyukova. After all, they also refused to transport her from Thailand to Moscow on a regular flight for a similar reason.
