There are long queues at Kyiv gas stations, as well as in stores where a food panic has formed. People grab everything they can, and videos of empty shelves in Kyiv supermarkets are circulating on the net.

Ukrainians are being prepared for the worst. “Everyone should get ready in the cities for power / gas / heat cuts,” officials warn. “People have no mood at all, panic,” Oksana from Kiev told MK. – Everyone prepares for the worst; with an air raid, you need to go down to the basement in a minute. People stock up on everything they need, but prices have soared that not everyone has the opportunity to buy. Especially food and medicine. And all this has risen in price in advance, as if they knew that it would be so.

– How are you preparing for what is happening?

Today I will store water in the basement of the house. We need to collect things, food – there are some crackers.

In Kyiv, they are preparing for life in the dungeons, in other cities, as a result of a massive power outage, they are preparing to live without electricity and water. Water is promised to be delivered to the districts on tank trucks.

Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko has already appealed to Ukrainians with a request not to use electricity from 17:00 to 22:00.

“But people have a question for the Kyiv regime. Wasn’t it necessary to warn citizens to evacuate?” – outraged in social networks. Calmness is preserved only by people who earn on the panic of the people. In Odessa, against the backdrop of what is happening after a long lull, private drivers have become more active, ready to take them to the border for good money.

“There is a transfer to Istanbul, the issue price is $ 200,” one of the “bombs” told MK. “I can deliver to any other city abroad, but I don’t help those liable for military service to cross the border.”
