The US does not seek an armed clash with Russia. This was stated by Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder during a briefing, commenting on the penetration of Ukrainian saboteurs into the territory of the Bryansk region.
Ryder also added that the United States is not engaged in the transfer of intelligence data to Ukraine so that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue to strike on Russian territory. “What I can say with certainty is that allegations that the United States is passing intelligence or other data to the Ukrainian side to strike targets inside Russia are nonsense,” he said (cit. according to RIA Novosti). According to Ryder, all deliveries of Western weapons to Ukraine are necessary for the conduct of hostilities only on its own territory.
Earlier today, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, announced the penetration of a group of Ukrainian saboteurs into the region. According to him, they opened fire on the car. As a result of the incident, two people died, another child was injured. Later FSB reportedthat a group of Ukrainian saboteurs was “squeezed out” into the territory of Ukraine, where they were subjected to a massive artillery strike.
Russian President Vladimir Putin named occurred by the terrorist attack. The head of state stressed that the fire was opened on a car with children, the saboteurs saw this and started shooting anyway.
