Russian Foreign Ministry: grain deal does not work due to sabotage by the West

The Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement in which it accused the partners in the “grain deal” of sabotaging the agreements. The document says that obstacles are being created against Russian agricultural exports, and that the Ukrainian side is blocking the resumption of the work of the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline.
“The ‘package’ of agreements is not working,” the statement said. “The main problem is Western countries’ sabotage of the implementation of the Russia-UN Memorandum.”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that most of the Ukrainian grain goes to the EU countries, and not to the poorest states.
The statement also says that the process of normalizing Russian agricultural exports “tends to zero”, the Foreign Ministry sees the reason in “the stubborn unwillingness of Westerners to recognize the second part of the” package “(UN Secretary General António) Guterres and their continuation of sanctions restrictions.” It is indicated that only one part of the “package” is being implemented – for the export of food from Ukraine.
