Washington has confirmed that it is providing defense support to Ukraine to protect its territory. This was stated by Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder in an interview on Fox News. He noted that the United States focuses solely on providing Ukrainians with the necessary assistance for defense and security inside the country’s borders.
“As for reports of drone attacks outside Ukraine, I will leave it to the Ukrainians to speak on this topic. Our position is that we provide the Ukrainian military with the assistance that will help them protect the country within its borders,” he said.
Earlier, White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre stressed that the United States does not support attacks by Ukraine on targets inside Russia.
Recall, according to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, on Monday, drone strikes on two non-residential buildings were recorded in the city, there were no serious damages and no casualties. In turn, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Kyiv’s actions had no military meaning.
