The US authorities will be able to transfer modern tanks to Kyiv, but after the Ukrainian military learns how to manage them. American journalist Jack Detch wrote about this on Twitter, citing the Pentagon.
Thus, according to a US Department of Defense spokesman, “the tanks are on the table,” but the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have to demonstrate the ability to use them before a decision is made to send a batch.
