The parents of the boy, named Putin, changed their minds about renaming him

The story of a young resident of the Vladimir region, whom his parents named Putin, and then decided to rename Rasul, received a new development. As MK has already reported, the child’s grandfather Rahmon did not approve of the decision of his son Jahongir. But now, perhaps, peace in the family will be restored – the child, most likely, will remain Putin.

Recall that the Juraev family from the village of Legkovo, Aleksandrovsky district, comes from Tajikistan. Once they received citizenship of the Russian Federation, lived in Moscow for more than five years, and in 2014 they moved to the Vladimir region. When the first-born son of Jahongir was born, he was named Rasul, but the head of the family, grandfather Rahmon (he is now 73 years old), being a great admirer and admirer of the President of the Russian Federation, insisted that his grandson be given the name Putin.

“I am a great patriot of our country,” Rahmon said in a conversation with MK. – If not for Vladimir Putin, we would not have such a power! I really respect and love him! For many years I have been collecting clippings from newspapers, magazines about him at home, collecting the history of his family, photographs and much more. Got an entire room! I already have a whole museum. So, when my son had a baby, I put forward the initiative to give him the name Putin. I am the second person in the world who decided to do this. The first one (I once read about him in a newspaper) was an Egyptian who also named his son Putin. Jahongir and his wife fully supported me, and it’s the way it is with us, they don’t argue with the elders!

But it’s a surname, not a given name. Did the registry office calmly agree and quickly rename the child according to all documents?

Well, not right away, of course. Many officials, I will not hide, were shocked. But, nevertheless, we went to the registry office of the city of Alexandrov (my eldest son lived with his family in my house), filed documents for renaming. Everything went well. True, it took some time. And here is my grandson Putin Dzhakhongirovich! Mekhrona’s daughter also had a son, and I asked them to name Shoigu’s granddaughter. Here it was easier – he was immediately given this name at birth. But still ahead! If another grandson or son is born to me (I am divorced from my first wife, and I am going to marry again), then I will name one of them Sobyanin, but if there is a girl, Matvienko. This is the history of our country, which must be preserved and supported. Russia is everything for me!

But recently rumors have reached Rakhmon’s grandfather from relatives that his son wants to rename Putin’s beloved grandson back to Rasul.

“I know why he said that,” Juraev says. – Firstly, all this is from his illiteracy. He finished three classes and did not study anywhere else. Well, and secondly, this is to “annoy” me, so to speak, to take revenge. After all, it was my idea, and then Dzhihongir and I quarreled. He did not behave well, it was different. I scolded him, scolded him. And now we haven’t spoken at all for four years. He left, bought an apartment in Domodedovo, and I helped him in this, and I learn about his life and grandchildren from my other children. I am very offended by him, and if he really renames Putin to Rasul, I won’t know him at all!

According to Rakhmon’s daughter and the boy’s mother, Mekhrona, her brother lives well with his family, works as a taxi driver and is unlikely to go against his father’s will.

“Although I rarely communicate with my brother, mostly by phone, we do not lose contact with each other,” Mekhron said. – But for some reason, his number has been turned off for the last month. When I found out that they wanted to “return” my nephew Putin back to Rasulchik, I was also upset, I didn’t understand what was the matter. Then I was told that the child had some problems with the name at school. He’s only in first grade. Probably, the name is loud, unusual, maybe they teased him as the president. Children! And it’s also true that Dzhihongir decided to do something contrary to his father, in recent years they had a strong misunderstanding. But recently, acquaintances of his acquaintances told me that the brother, they say, changed his mind about changing the name of his son. Yes, and I know that he and his wife did not submit any applications to the registry office, they only said that they planned to do so. But apparently he changed his mind. Why would he? Again with the father to quarrel, and people will not understand.

– Does your son have any problems because of the name?

– No, all is fine! He is small, but he still goes to kindergarten. Everywhere his name is treated well, no one asks, no one is surprised. When they registered it, there were no problems either. Grandpa wanted it so, we did it. And we are not going to rename our son. Will be the Minister of Defense!
