The Palestinian Red Crescent announced the complete isolation of Gaza from the outside world

The Gaza Strip is completely isolated from the outside world, stated in the Palestine Red Crescent (PRCS).

“We have completely lost contact with the operations center in the Gaza Strip and all of our teams working there due to the Israeli authorities cutting off all wired, cellular and internet communications,” the statement said.

PRCS expresses concern about the safety of the organization’s teams that continue to work in the enclave. “Intense Israeli airstrikes around the clock indicate that Israeli authorities will continue to commit war crimes by isolating Gaza from the outside world,” the organization added.

The Palestinian Red Crescent called on the international community to pressure Israeli authorities to provide “immediate protection to innocent civilians, medical facilities and our teams.”

At the same time, Israel announced the expansion of the ground operation in Gaza was reported by the country’s defense army (IDF). Prior to this, the Palestinian telecommunications company Jawwal announced a shutdown of mobile communications and the Internet in the enclave due to the bombing. The media reported a complete lack of communication and Internet in the northern regions of Gaza.

In recent weeks, the IDF has announced a full-scale ground operation in Gaza. This was preceded by an attack by the Palestinian group Hamas on southern Israel on October 7. According to the latest data, about 8,000 people were killed in the Palestinian-Israeli war, including more than 6,500 Palestinians.

Among the dead were 23 Russians with an Israeli passport, four were missing, the Israeli Foreign Ministry reported. There are still hostages in Gaza, taken captive by Hamas.
