The organizers of the concert of the Russian singer Zemfira (included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of foreign agents) in Kazakhstan commented on the singer’s accusations of insufficiently professional organization of the event.
Producer Dana Ormanbayeva said the organizers complied with all the requirements sent to them, “down to photographing the color of the rug in the shower.”
According to one of the requirements, the soundcheck process could not be filmed, and the concert almost fell through due to the fact that his recording was published on the Internet. As it turned out, the recording was conducted by a member of Zemfira’s team, who, according to Ormanbayeva, did not apologize.
Tabriz Shakhidi, mentioned by Zemfira, according to Ormanbayeva, is “the most experienced promoter with 25 years of experience in the show industry.”
The producer also published a video of the artist’s musicians’ dressing room in Astana.
Ormanbayeva suggested that communication problems were created by members of the artist’s team, and said that Zemfira “showed friendliness, warmth and humanity all the way.”
