The operational headquarters of the Belgorod region denied information about the entry of saboteurs

Reports about the penetration of a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG) into the territory of the Belgorod region do not correspond to reality. About it reported in the Telegram channel of the regional operational headquarters.

“Several sources are disseminating information that the DRG entered the area of ​​the settlements of Staroselye and Terebreno. There was no approach. Border guards, together with other security forces, entered the battle on the demarcation line,” the message says.

Information about the evacuation of Terebreno residents is also fake. The operational headquarters recalled that a state of emergency is in force in Staroselye; village residents were evacuated back in October 2022.

Ukrainian saboteurs periodically make attempts to break into the territory of the Belgorod region. June 4 Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported about repelling such an attack. According to the department, the saboteurs tried to cross the river near the settlement of Novaya Tavolzhanka. The DRG was hit by an artillery strike, as a result of which the enemy was “scattered and retreated.”

June 27, the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov reportedthat Chechen units prevented an attempt by the Ukrainian DRG to break through into the Belgorod region, covering it with artillery fire.
