The opening ceremony of the 4th round of the International Basketball Festival 3×3 of the Rosenergoatom Concern “Russia-Belarus Friendship League” took place. The competition was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the planet’s first cosmonaut, Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin.

Chairman of the Smolensk Regional Duma, secretary of the Smolensk regional branch of the United Russia party, Igor Vasilievich Lyakhov, congratulated the participants. Igor Lyakhov also noted that United Russia is organizing sports competitions in honor of the memory of Yuri Gagarin, so that you remember the history of victories and the great country, and are united.
