“Stabbed in the chest”
In the village of Umanka, Miyakinsky district of Bashkortostan, there were once strong Bashkir houses and a large economy. But after the collapse of the USSR, many residents moved to the city or larger settlements. In 2010, there were only 22 people left living in the village, and now there are even fewer. Most of the houses are boarded up and only two families live. But there is more than enough land, so the two owners of the family decided to take over the empty stable. The plan was to buy the outbuilding and keep livestock there.
Two families whiled away the long winter evenings and discussed economic plans. They dreamed of owning livestock and starting a farming business.
We decided to chip in at the stables. But when it came to the purchase, one party unexpectedly refused. There was no money.
The other family there simply didn’t give up. They bought the property alone, and out of the kindness of their hearts, they allowed their only neighbors to keep livestock there. But they set one condition: only without pigs. They smell bad and have too much manure.
The condition infuriated another neighbor. It was the pigs that he wanted to place in the free part of the stable.
While the discussion was going on, the 52-year-old pig lover went berserk and stabbed his neighbor in the chest.
The son of the victim contacted the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Miyakinsky district. The hot-tempered resident was detained. He confessed. Criminal investigation officers seized the same knife from the scene of the incident.
Now the attacker faces up to 6 years in prison. Thus, during this period there will be even fewer residents in the village of Umanka.
